The bullish abandoned baby is a three-candle bottom reversal: a large bearish candle, a downward-gapping doji (body gaps away from both adjacent candles), then a large bullish candle gapping up. All three candle bodies have gaps between them.
Extreme exhaustion of sellers. The gapping doji represents a complete vacuum with no support; but then bulls aggressively counter and gap up again, signaling a very powerful reversal.
Appears at the end of downtrends when all three gap conditions are intact (win rate 75%). Enter long after the third bullish candle closes; stop-loss below the doji's low.
All three gaps must be complete — any filled gap reduces reliability. This pattern is relatively rare in Taiwan stocks.
